Arnold Wikler, M.D. The pages that link to this one contain
information about, and photographs of, El and Lou as well as examples of
El's work and various tributes to Lou and El written by their children,
Judy, Janet ("Janny"), and Joan ("Joanie"/"Jo").
In 1946 El and Lou bought a Revolutionary-War-era stone house at 1158 Old York Road in Abington, Pennsylvania. They raised their children there and lived there for the rest of their lives. Lou had his medical office in the house as well. The house was called "Pine Tree House" because of the large pine tree that stood for many years at the northeast corner of the property. The old stone house, with its beautiful back yard, was a family gathering place for 53 years. Click on the image above to go to a memorial page for El and Lou.
